In studying for my Aztec Civilization class, I had to learn at least 60 Nahuatl words. Nahuatl is the language that they spoke. Anyways, I know lots of words about jobs, houses, agriculture, and social classes. Hannah helped me memorize them. It felt like us studying for her Spanish class last semester!!
My Big, Jenny, delivered my birthday present today! It consisted of a beautiful pink and orange floral scarf, bubble blowing key chains, and a beautiful frame with my favorite picture of us in it! When we went to the museum two months ago, we took this cool picture in a dugout canoe (acalli in Nahuatl!). She put that picture in a hand painted frame that is just gorgeous! So to a fantastic Big with a fantastic brain, and loving heart, I say thank you!!!!
Other exciting thing of the day is that I ate Melvin the Moose (see yesterday's post if you are confused). He was mighty delicious! A chocolate frosting covered Twinkie on top of a cupcake is a genius idea!
Aztec Civ. test in the morning! Wahoo!!!
