I'm not a huge fan of MySpace since the invention of Facebook (which made some layout changes I'm not pleased with today...) but it does have the amazing quality of providing me free music from my favorite band! I didn't have time, effort, energy, or a way to get to the store to buy the Good Charlotte CD today, but taDA! MySpace provides. Still listening to it now. I'm not sure if I can give a proper reaction yet. I'll let you know when I can. It's very different from their original stuff, which was on the outskirts of my tastes, but made me love it more. Now it's closer to my other tastes and I'm not sure if I like that or not. We'll see.
Other than that, I had lunch with a Hospitality and Tourism major at Designer Greens. Lunch was delicious (I highly suggest eating there!) and the talk was very informative and helpful. Plus I found out a friend from back home is in the exact same situation that I am, so that's pretty interesting.
Besides lunch and Good Charlotte, it was a pretty relaxing day. Mostly because I was sneezing or coughing or blowing my nose too often to do anything else but stay in the room. So that's what I did. After my delicious PB&J I made for dinner, I tried to do more homework (watching a boring science lecture to write a report on), but I fell asleep instead. After over an hour, I woke up and decided I'd just go to bed. But obviously that didn't work since I'm writing this. Thanks to random noisy things occurring on our floor (it's not quiet time so I can't complain), I couldn't fall back asleep. Plus my contacts are still in. I guess this is what happens when you're sick. Random sleeping schedules.... oh well.
I'm going to stop writing now... After the weather update in that it was beautiful today and apparently rained, but I missed that. Rest of the week should be gorgeous as well and THUNDER STORMS on Thursday!!! Rainboots anyone? YAY!
Happy Election Day (Voted via absentee ballot) (really wish I had an "I Voted" sticker to show off voting in my first real election...)
And Happy Beginning of November and introduction to non really hot weather.
