Day 206: Falling in love with America

Sunday was my last day of work at Cedar Point. My mom drove up to get me and we are road tripping home. My dad surprised me by coming along because he had some business in Buffalo on Tuesday. We went to the park on Monday, got rained on, but got to ride the best rides and have lots of fun.

Tuesday, my mom and I went to Niagara Falls. We visited both the American and Canadian sides. Besides the incredible heat and sun, they were absolutely beautiful. We went on the Maid of the Mist and got to see some amazing rainbows!

Yesterday we spent driving through Pennsylvania with very little excitement.

Today we visited Hanover and Gettysburg. We went to the Utz and Snyder's factories and got some delicious chips and pretzels! We learned how potato chips were made, which was really cool! Gettysburg was very nice as well. We got there later in the day so we just had time to drive around, but that was plenty of scenery and information for us. The amount of land that the battle took up is just remarkable. We stopped in the East Cemetery for some moonlit pictures before heading back to the hotel.

Tomorrow is Harrisburg (capital of PA), Hershey, Lancaster (Amish Country) and visiting family outside of Baltimore. Talk to you again soon!
