So sorry for the long break from blogging, but there just hasn't been a whole lot to write about. My roommates and I pitched in and bought a wireless internet card. Unfortunately, it doesn't really work all that well, so we're still stuck without much internet. Oh well. I went to the mall yesterday after work and watched Cars 2 at the movies. It was so cute! And so great to have a relaxing afternoon. Bonus, the movie was only $4.75!!!!! Hopefully I can go next week and watch another movie. Since we have gotten internationals to help in the kitchen, instead of working 10 hour days, I've gone home early almost every single day in the last two weeks. Not good for my paycheck, but not too bad for entertainment. I've watched a lot of tv... Hehe. :)

Day 204: Soak City
Yesterday on my day off, I went to Soak City with Ashton. It was my first time at a water park! And boy was it HOT!!! We hung out in the lazy river, wave pool, and a few of the water slides before we moved back into the park. Then we went on one of the water rides (while we were wet), but the other two had super long lines. We parted and I headed to get some of the infamous local ice cream, Toft's. SO. GOOD. I had Blueberry Waffle Cone flavor. And I will definitely be splurging again soon. So yumm.
Sorry there hasn't been a lot of writing lately. The rec center's internet is sketchy at best. I've been able to catch up on NCIS, The Good Wife and Bones (which I can NOT wait for next season!). Last night I got to watch the season premiere of Covert Affairs! Yay summer shows! And a cable-enabled TV!I'm in McDonald's right now, and just got finished talking with a family from South Carolina! We talked about how much we love Publix (among other normal conversation topics).
So I'm going to try to watch an episode of NCIS LA, but don't think the internet will hold up for that long. And after that, heading to Dairy Queen for a mid-night treat. Hehehe. Talk to you later!
